Sweating for Peace

 

A German organisation promotes peace in the Near East through a sports programme.

 

Local sport. The aims of Sport Unites, a German non-profit organisation, are to bring young people from Israel, Jordan and Palestine together and to promote peaceful rapport. One of the two programmes brings children from neighbouring Arab and Jewish settlements together by means of joint sporting activities, while the other pursues the promotion of school sports.
