Cover of Der Spiegel honors Holocaust survivors

 

News magazine commemorates the Holocaust with eight different covers

 

On the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, the German news magazine Der Spiegel hit the newsstands with eight different covers. They each show the portrait of a former prisoner of Auschwitz, the largest Nazi concentration camp. The eight survivors and a further eleven recall the Nazi atrocities in the current issue of the magazine.
